At MillerSpec.com, we only use the best. We're not just interested in numbers we are interested in accuracy, safety, and consistency… because of that we use a Dynocom DC-Pod dyno. Dynocom is an industry leader in innovation and reliability.

Note: Unfortunately, our dyno can only measure up to 5500 lb/ft of torque (1800HP) and will top out at about 225MPH (2WD Mode).

Features & Benefits

No Tire-to-Roller Interface: On our dyno there is no flywheel affect, no rolling resistance, and no tire slip.

Safety: On our dyno there is no chance a vehicle will come off, causing damage and / or harm to both you or your property

Greater Accuracy: On our dyno there are no changes in tire temperature, tire pressure, tire traction, tire loading, suspension loading, or strap resistance due to squirming or streching.

No Inertia: On our dyno there is no flywheel effect, and no power curve for smoothing

Engine Control: On our dyno there is total control over engine speed. Our dyno controls the engine not the other way around. Because of this we can do power pulls, steady-state tuning, step tuning, ramp tuning, and can replicate almost any road condition imaginable.

Repeatablitiy: On our dyno runs are repeatable to better than 0.3%

Sensitivity: On our dyno we can reliably measure minute differences not seen on the other machines. We can measure the effect of spark plug gap, different lubricants, alternator load, etc.

Extreme Sample Rates: With the DC-Pod Dyno the sample rate is far faster than most of your other dyno's. Dynocom samples at a rate of 100 samples per RPM. This allows us to accurately and reliably dyno AWD cars such as Porsche's, GTR's, Lamborhini's, ect without fear of damaging the drive train.

Mechanical Design: The Dynocom DC-Pod dyno features the Highest rated speed, load, power, and sampling in its class.

Superior Options: THe Dynocom system allows many options such as Inductive or optical RPM Pickup, 8 different Analog inputs (EGT, Oil Temp or Pressure, Water Temp, Fuel Temp or Pressure, ect) This is on top of your AFR's, RPM, and Atmospheric reading. We can take these readings off of analog sensor's or off of your ODB2 car's connector.

Low Noise: On our dyno, even at speed, the noise produced is approximately 40db – much quieter than an engine at idle. This is especially beneficial if you want to perform NVH testing. Now detonation, exhaust noises, bearing noises, belt slippage, ect are all easily audible making for a better tuning experience.

 

And now the kicker, our dyno is totally self sufficient. You do not need to provide anything but the space to hook your cars up.
